The NMR HUB is comprised of 500 and 600 MHz Bruker Avance III NMR spectrometers for high-resolution studies of biomolecules in solution, along with a 850 MHz Bruker Avance III and a Varian Inova 400 MHz instrument for the analysis of samples in the solid or solution state. All instruments are fully equipped for state-of-the-art heteronuclear multidimensional gradient enhanced spectroscopy.
The 500 and 600 MHz spectrometers provide the resolution and sensitivity required for structural and dynamic studies of large proteins, DNA, carbohydrates, and lipid complexes.
The 400 MHz NMR spectrometer is essential for the study of solid-state biological samples, as well as the analysis and screening of solution-state biological and organic molecules such as those containing 1H, 19F, 31P, 13C or metal nuclei.
The NMR Hub also contains computer workstations for the off-line analysis of spectra.
